"Wondering what to do about a late holiday, and with a limited budget I was determined we would
not stay in a large anonymous hotel on the Costa "somewhere".
I chose Casa Dane, described as a luxury retreat, just outside the historical town of Arta.
Here the owners, Sharon and Dave, have two comfortable doubles, 1 twin and and a quad - suitable
for 4, with a double bed and 2 twins to let, on the first floor of this stunning villa. Set in its own
gardens it has a pool and it looked just what we wanted. A little different from the usual run of the
mill holidays and without breaking the bank. Only 80 euro a room high season with a breakfast fit for
a king and the use of all the villas facilities. Dave will even pick you up from the airport if you don´t
want to hire a car.
Only open for a year this delightful couple, made us feel like old family friends from the moment they
replied to my e mail enquiry, giving us hints and tips on traveling about the Island, before we even
arrived......Staying at Casa Dane is like having your own place in the sun, without all the expense and
hassle. It was so nice to come 'home' each day to an immaculate villa and welcoming drink. No
housework, just peace and quiet. A truly relaxing holiday. If you are a golfer then you will be in
seventh heaven, since the villa is close to many of the award winning courses on the Island. After
this hotels and apartments will never be the same again"

some fantastic places to eat and drink. Fabulous hosts and a beautiful place to stay. So convenient for exploring
the island but remote enough to be completely tranquil and relaxing. It´s the first time I´ve slept through to

It´s hard to imagine somewhere more idylically located than Casadane. After a hectic day sightseeing, or a long lazy day on
the beach, you come back to the perfectly stunning, tranquil place that we all dream of being our own. Casadane is so much
more than a guesthouse, it is home and Sharon and Dave make it that way.

Thank you Sharon and Dave for the best family holiday we have ever had.
You gave us such a warm welcome we thought we´d known you for years in a couple of minutes.
Our children had a great time. Another plus was the fact you are situated in a great spot - not far from anywhere - the
children couldn´t find time to be bored.
